Integrated Project "Pole of Carignano"

ManWell has always been very close and committed to the problems related to ecological sustainability; as a demonstration, our corporate actively supports the Integrated Project "Pole of Carignano" in the Italian town of Portoscuso (CI) - in Sardinia - from where the quality agro industrial sector is promoted as a matter of peculiar interest. It becomes a synonym of exceptional scenarios, by adopting an agronomical healthy and respectful policy of the origins and properties of the different territories.

The Integrated Project "Pole of Carignano" puts together the towns of Portoscuso, Bergamo, Latina and Cerreto Guidi (FI), with the aim of an agronomical reutilization and of an optimum promotion of the landscapes. Such different and far territories have a real proper "policy of doing" in common, come out of the synergy among the Doctor and Researcher Rita Mulas (chief of the entire Project and technical director of the meetings at Villa Medicea), the local authorities, the associations, some private members and the Master of San Vigilio in Bergamo, as a point of internal reference inside the Expo2015 fair.

The project involves very important people of Italian enology, agronomics, research such as Gaspare Buscemi, Leonello Anello, Daniele Marchi, Franco Mulas, Paolo Callioni e Manuel Amorini and its aim is to create a biodynamic modern and natural wine growing and producing centre with the establishment of an experimental ecologic winery, where a small quality productive area of autochthonous grapes can be recreated thanks to a reimplantation and reorganization of the vineyards in non-polluted industrial areas, far, for instance, from Portovesme.

In short, the goal of the "Pole" is the realization of an economy that can be compatible and respectful of the environment and of its uncountable properties.

The "ViaGrande StudioS" project

Salvatore Lazzaro, an Italian film and theater director (www.salvatorelazzaro.it), had the brilliant idea to improve the offer of Sicily and make it competitive through the creation of a multipurpose center dedicated to film, television and multimedia productions, able to provide logistic services, well trained Sicilian craftsmen, development and promotion of in-house created contest.

Moreover, this great project is fit in a unique variety of different landscapes (such as: cities, sea, islands, mountains) and lights.

The center will develop in the fields of training and film&video production with the aim to realize contents (cinema, television, advertising and the Internet) providing infrastructure and specialized personnel, in order to attract the interest of Italian and international productions, by promoting the landscape combined with the creation of employment opportunities.

The center ViaGrande StudioS will open soon, approximately in March 2012, in the tiny Commune of Viagrande(CT) and is going to become a very important realty, thanks to the will and economical efforts of the manager Migliori, estimated in more than € 3.500.000.

With an extension of more than 4.000 square meters, ViaGrande StudioS lends itself to become the main artistic training center (acting, dance and music) in the South of Italy. Inside, there will be eight didactical rooms, canteen, offices, an open-air amphitheatre with 500 seats and a indoor theatre with 350 seats, where the rollaway stands allow it to be transformed into a proper, larger film studio: the area is expandible from 500 up to 1000sm in order to meet the many requirements of the productions such as, for instance, stage costumes, carpentry, properties, make-up, dressing rooms, store houses for the tools of the troupe, etc.

Thanks to the roominess and flexibility of its spaces, ViaGrande StudioS proposes itself as the ideal place to host an excellent all-purpose in the “creative media” sector trough the ample offer that is:

  • institution of an art and performance academy, specialized in drama, dance and music with a registration fee in order to substain the entire financial project
  • training of specialized workers for the audio and video, both concerning the creative aspect (direction, screenplay, cinematography, film makers, experts in new media) and the technical one (make-up, hair dressing, scenography and so on)
  • production of contents such as screenplays, low budget movies, television, multi-platform channels, advertising, web TV, digital and satellite television, etc.
  • facilities (location, offices) for audio/video production offered.
